Job Description

Koniag Technology Solutions, Inc, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Integrator with a Top-Secret security clearance to support KTS and our government customer in Quantico, VA. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Koniag Technology Solutions, Inc is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Integrator with a Top-Secret Clearance in Quantico, VA to assist the Planning and Project Management Unit (PPMU) with the coordination, integration, planning, design, and construction support requirements associated with facility improvement and capital
projects at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Support Southern Consolidation initiatives through coordination of planning activities, project integration efforts, stakeholder collaboration, and development of implementation strategies aligned with FBI mission requirements and long-term campus objectives.
  • Assist with master planning efforts, facility planning studies, programming activities, adjacency evaluations, campus utilization analyses, and integration of current and future operational requirements into planning recommendations.
  • Conduct on-site assessments, field investigations, data collection, space utilization reviews, and verification of existing conditions, including documentation of facilities, operational workflows, equipment, staffing requirements, circulation, and functional relationships between organizational elements.
  • Maintain stacking plans, blocking diagrams, conceptual layouts, occupancy strategies, and other planning documentation to support organizational alignment, functional integration, and phased implementation efforts.
  • Assist in the preparation, coordination, and technical integration of conceptual planning documents, design intent materials, presentation graphics, planning studies, and supporting documentation utilizing AutoCAD and other Government-approved software platforms.
  • Facilitate coordination among Government stakeholders, project managers, subject matter experts, consultants, contractors, end users, and other project team members to ensure planning objectives, operational requirements, and project milestones are effectively integrated and communicated.
  • Support the development, tracking, and evaluation of project schedules, sequencing strategies, transition planning efforts, occupancy coordination activities, and milestone reporting associated with Southern Consolidation and related capital improvement initiatives.
  • Review planning documents, studies, design packages, schedules, reports, and other projectrelated materials for consistency with FBI Program of Requirements (POR), Campus Design
  • Guides, Construction Standards, operational objectives, and master planning strategies.
  • Provide comments, recommendations, and coordination support as required.
  • Assist with the coordination and facilitation of meetings, workshops, charrettes, whiteboard strategy sessions, presentations, and stakeholder engagement activities in support of planning and project integration efforts.
  • Support construction and implementation coordination activities, including participation in project meetings, site visits, transition discussions, punch-list coordination, issue tracking, and integration of operational requirements during project execution phases.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, tracking, and facilitating resolution of project-related issues, conflicts, operational concerns, and integration challenges among multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain familiarity with applicable federal standards, FBI planning criteria, accessibility requirements, campus standards, and relevant building and planning codes necessary to support planning and project integration efforts.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, studies, briefing materials, executive summaries, presentations, meeting minutes, status updates, and other project documentation required to support Government decision-making processes.
  • Provide miscellaneous administrative and technical support services requiring proficiency in
  • Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and AutoCAD
  • Exhibit professionalism, strong communication skills, sound organizational abilities, and effective customer service while supporting multiple projects, stakeholders, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities, schedules, and mission requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of planners, project managers, architects, engineers, operational stakeholders, contractors, and federal personnel to support resolution of complex planning and integration challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance planning processes, coordination procedures, campus standards, and project integration methodologies, and provide recommendations for updates to applicable guidance documents when appropriate.
  • Perform other similar or related support services of a non-decision-making nature as assigned within the scope of this task order.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • A minimum, a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Master Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the current versions of industry-standard design and project management software, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience supporting commercial, institutional, or government planning, design, and construction projects, including demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and supporting project execution through various phases of design and construction.
  • Professional licensure as a Registered Architect or Professional Engineer is preferred but not required.

Clearance Requirement:
  • Top-Secret security clearance.
