About the Role
PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented F/A-18 Material Coordinator to support operations in San Antonio, TX. This role is responsible for managing material flow, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting production schedules to meet program requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment and is committed to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Schedule & Work Conditions
- Must be open to 1st and 2nd shift
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
- Work performed in industrial environments, including exposure to noise, elevated platforms, and varying conditions
- Route materials to designated storage locations following established procedures
- Conduct inventory checks and report any damage or deterioration
- Issue and prepare materials for shipment
- Ensure compliance with safety, tool control, FOD, and inventory procedures
- Review production schedules to ensure availability of materials and hardware
- Identify and resolve material shortages or discrepancies
- Perform inventory analysis, material planning, and configuration control
- Order parts, tools, and supplies as needed
- Support operational goals through additional duties as assigned
- 4+ years of warehouse or inventory experience, including parts accountability
- Strong computer skills and system proficiency
- Ability to obtain a forklift license
- Must demonstrate reliable attendance
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift up to 35 lbs regularly (team lift required for heavier items)
- Climb ladders (3-12 ft) and work on elevated platforms
- Work in confined spaces and industrial environments
- Perform frequent standing, walking, reaching, and balancing
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Pass visual acuity and color perception tests
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely
- Perform physical movements such as bending, squatting, crawling, and extended standing
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications
