Secret Cleared Elastic SRE

Our client, a leading software development company, is looking for a Secret Cleared Elastic Site Reliability Engineer for an initial 10-month contract position. Candidates can be located in either Boston, MA or Virginia Beach, VA. The SRE will be working on a hybrid schedule, onsite 3 days a week, supporting the creation and maintenance of visualizations, dashboards, and monitoring views for network bandwidth and system performance. They will plan, coordinate, and execute cluster shutdowns, maintenance activities, and data retention efforts.

Required Skills:

• Active Elastic certification
• Must possess an Active DoD Secret Level Clearance
• Experience with Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes administration and operation
• Ability to create and maintain visualizations, dashboards, and monitoring views for network bandwidth and system performance
• Experience updating and managing data collectors and cluster configurations
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute cluster shutdowns, maintenance activities, and data retention efforts
• Strong troubleshooting and operational support experience within Elastic environments
• Experience supporting security-focused environments

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $87.75 - $126.75 per hour.
The posted range is an estimate, the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
