Job Summary

KBR is seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills to perform as Staff Action Coordinator Officer (SACO), with additional duties as an action officer in the Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG).

The SACO serves as the primary manager for the organization's internal and external workflow and tasking requirements. They act as the central hub for the coordination, routing, and synchronization of staff actions, ensuring that all mission-critical directives from the Chairman are properly assigned and executed within established timelines. Beyond administrative tracking, the SACO provides vital quality control by reviewing staff packages for policy compliance, accuracy, and adherence to senior leader standards before they reach the Commander's desk. Ultimately, the SACO maintains the organization's operational tempo by managing the accountability systems that drive senior-level decision-making.

As an action officer in the SIG, you will provide support for high-priority projects and long-range planning that fall outside of traditional staff directorate boundaries. SIG action officers (AOs) are responsible for researching, coordinating, and synchronizing complex initiatives to support the Director's strategic vision and decision-making process.

  • Prepare read-ahead materials and background briefings for SIG managed engagements
  • Assist with event planning, attend and facilitate meetings, workshops, conferences and working group sessions, track status and milestones, and provide summary of meetings and meeting minutes when requested.
  • Serve as a final checkpoint for task responses, ensuring they meet rigorous formatting and regulatory standards.
