Job Description
TITLE: Mechanical Engineer with ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $79/hr - $98/hr W2 ***Depends on experience and benefits chosen***
LOCATION: Tucson, AZ 85756 (no relocation package)
CLEARANCE: Active Secret Security clearance issued by the Department of Defense
DURATION: 12+ month contract
SCHEDULE: 9/80 (every other Friday off)
*** No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED ***
DESCRIPTION:
GeoLogics is seeking skilled engineers to lead hardware design, development and production of critical defense systems. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, mechanical hardware design experience, system integration skills, and a strong background in program execution and production support.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proven experience with concept definition through detailed design, transition to production, and production support.
Hands-on expertise with 3D CAD design tools and related product data management tools
STEM degree with 5-10 years of experience
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience in design, fabrication, and integration of electronic assemblies, shelter assemblies, power distribution equipment packaging
Demonstrated team player, a self-driven leader with excellent collaboration skills, interpersonal skills, and positive interactions in a teaming environment
Prior leadership of small to mid-sized technical teams
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor Degree Required
Must have a STEM degree with 5-10 years of experience
