PeopleSoft Developer
Location: Remote
Clearance: Secret cleared
Candidate Will: The Oracle PeopleSoft Global Payroll Developer must have hands on development experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Global Payroll. The candidate must be able to develop and test the PeopleSoft Global Payroll rules engine, update/modify existing extensions, or tailored software. Must have experience with integration of PeopleSoft Global Payroll with existing Oracle PeopleSoft HCM solutions to support the Integrated Personnel and Pay System. The candidate should also have experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery environment and be able to build and test Epics, Features, Users Stories, conduct Software Demonstrations and receive Acceptance Criteria for delivery backlog items to roll out Global Payroll in an incremental and iterative fashion to the government. Design, develop, and maintain customizations and enhancements across a variety of PeopleSoft modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Financials (AP, AR, GL), and Campus Solutions.
• PeopleSoft Global Payroll Developer must have hands on development experience with PeopleSoft Global Payroll.
• Develop and test the PeopleSoft Global Payroll rules engine, update/modify existing extensions, or tailored software.
• Experience with integration of PeopleSoft Global Payroll with existing PeopleSoft HCM solutions to support the Integrated Personnel and Pay System.
• Design, develop, and maintain customizations and enhancements across a variety of PeopleSoft modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Financials (AP, AR, GL), and Campus Solutions. Develop and support complex components using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, and Event Mapping.
• Strong experience with SQL, SQR, PS/Query, BI Publisher, and web services.
• Support integrations with third-party and legacy systems using REST/SOAP Web Services, file-based integrations, and middleware tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, data integrity problems, and system bugs across multiple modules.
• Apply security best practices, manage user roles/permissions, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards (HIPAA, FISMA, etc.).
• Support batch scheduling, job streams, and workflow automation using Application Engine, Process Scheduler, and PeopleSoft Workflows.
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, change control artifacts, and deployment packages.
Candidate requirements:
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Security+ Certification or IAT Level 2 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of PeopleSoft development experience across HCM, Financials, and/or Campus Solutions.
• Expert-level experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and Component Interface.
• Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft security, performance tuning, and management changes.
• Proven ability to lead development tasks, mentor team members, and collaborate with functional and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid UI and accessibility compliance.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS-hosted PeopleSoft environments.
• Ability to work independently and as a technical lead within a cross-functional team.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $150,000 - $160,000/YR (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
