Platform and Governance Lead Architect

Must be a US Citizen who currently possesses a Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
This is a hybrid position. The candidate will need to be local to the DC Metro area as they will need to be onsite as needed for meetings.

MUST HAVE's:

• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Master Architect.
• Experience: Significant professional background (typically 7+ years, including 3+ years in governance/architecture), preferably in DoW/Federal environments (e.g., IL5).
• Expertise: Deep understanding of platform data architecture, security best practices, performance tuning, and robust stakeholder advisory skills for continuous improvement.

Serve as the lead technical authority responsible for the overall governance, management, and architectural integrity of the ServiceNow platform. This individual will establish and enforce platform standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent, secure, and scalable deployments across the organization. The Platform and Governance Lead Architect will provide strategic oversight of platform lifecycle management, guide the adoption of best practices, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role will coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize platform enhancements, oversee platform health and performance, and mentor team members on governance and architectural principles to support successful ServiceNow operations and continuous improvement.
