KRATOS is seeking a highly motivated candidate who will provide hardware engineering support for multiple programs in Colorado Springs, CO. The candidate will support design, procurement, tracking, installation, and maintenance across the Kratos Federal Space teams. This position is full-time and requires the ability to successfully work in a team environment. The successful candidate must be able to produce and maintain a HBOM based on requirements. Create system design drawings, & provide electrical and thermal analysis. Excellent communications and interpersonal relationship skills are required. Will be working closely with system developers, engineers, test, and support personnel.

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $115,000-$125,000

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the System Engineering team to ensure all engineering contractual requirements and deliverables are met.
- Participate in CDRLs generation and deliveries based on customer prescribed schedule
- Requirements analysis to support the hardware and software required
- Support and generate Hardware Bill of Materials (HBOM)
- System design and architecture
- System documentation updates
- Work closely with system developers, engineers, & test
- Provide technical advice on architecture and potential solutions
- Attend and support highly technical engineering team meetings
- Travel as necessary to attend installations at customer locations
Experience and Skills
- 2 - 5 Years hardware engineering
- BS in SE, CS, EE, ME, or other engineering equivalent
- Familiarity with modern IT infrastructure capabilities to include virtualization, cloud deployment and containerization (CNFs)
- Working knowledge of Operational systems and GEPs
- Experience generating system drawings and documentation
- Sense of ownership, urgency, and drive to accomplish results
- Must current have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with AutoCAD/Visio
- Experience with cables build and installation of CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic and RS530 cables
- System hardware installation/configuration
- System hardware troubleshooting
- Security+ or better certification
