What You’ll Do:
As the SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) Test Engineer, you will be part of a team of engineers supporting the development, acquisition, integration, and sustainment of advanced radio frequency (RF) avionics systems for the MQ-4C Triton platform. These systems combine electronics and RF engineering expertise to enable U.S. Navy SIGINT capabilities. This role focuses on leading hardware engineering and system design efforts, driving technical improvements, and ensuring readiness across the program lifecycle. This part-time position will be based at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

What You’ll Do:

These systems combine electronics and RF engineering expertise to enable U.S. Navy SIGINT capabilities. This role focuses on leading hardware engineering and system design efforts, driving technical improvements, and ensuring readiness across the program lifecycle. This part-time position will be based at NAS Patuxent River, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers supporting SIGINT hardware and software initiatives.
- Maintain situational awareness of all U.S. Navy SIGINT efforts and develop long-term capability roadmaps.
- Test for Certification and Airworthiness processes for SIGINT systems.
- Test the design, integration, qualification, production, and in-service support of SIGINT avionics.
- Develop system specifications of SIGINT systems.
- Provide technical analysis for trade studies, engineering investigations, and system upgrades.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for SIGINT systems.
- Support the Integrated Test Team during ground and flight tests.
- Perform additional duties as required by the program office.

Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- B.S. in a STEM area of study is required.
- At least 10 years of related experience is required.
- Knowledge of Mission Control Systems flight management, mission execution, and mission planning.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) theory and application, particularly as it relates to SIGINT, ELINT, COMINT, or MULTI-INT systems.
- Familiarity with SIGINT and RF system architectures preferred.
- Understanding of NSA security processes, data handling procedures, and Security Classification Guides related to SIGINT systems.

Security Clearance Requirement:
- This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
