Job Description

SkyBridge Tactical is a Prime Contractor for MSOFS and a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Tampa, FL, founded in 2008 to support our customers’ global security, operational and training needs, focusing on mission success in the most challenging environments. SBT current contracts address U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Department of State (DoS) demand for highly skilled professionals to solve problems in the interest of national security.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Position Title: C-145 Aircraft Maintenance Field Site Representative — Kenya
Location: Moi Air Base, Kenya
Position Type: Full-Time, OCONUS, Contingent Upon Contract Award
Period of Performance: Three-month mobilization followed by up to 21 months in-country

Position Summary
SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a qualified C-145 Aircraft Maintenance Field Site Representative to support a U.S. Government partner-nation aviation sustainment program in Kenya. The FSR will provide embedded mentorship, advisory support, and technical assistance to Kenya Air Force personnel responsible for C-145 aircraft sustainment.

The FSR will assist Kenya Air Force personnel in understanding procedures for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting scheduled and unscheduled repair processes for C-145 aircraft systems. This is an advisory and mentorship role; the FSR will not serve as a direct maintenance augmentee or independently perform aircraft maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide field-level and intermediate maintenance mentorship on C-145 aircraft systems and subsystems.

Advise Kenya Air Force personnel on inspection and troubleshooting of aircraft structures, components, landing gear, flight controls, anti-icing systems, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, environmental systems, and other mechanical components.

Mentor personnel on preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.

Assist personnel in reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and specifications.

Mentor personnel on refueling/defueling operations and support Jack and Tow Team supervisory mentorship.

Advise on aircraft servicing tasks, including LOX, hydraulic systems, engine oil, and aircraft tires.

Identify spare parts requirements and support sustainment planning for the C-145 fleet.

Support development of maintenance, logistics, supply, bench stock, tool room, calibration, FOD, weight and balance, quality control, and publications programs.

Support trend analysis, process audits, maintenance logs, spare parts inventory, quality control, and lifecycle maintenance management.

Develop and support delivery of training/mentorship materials in English.

Prepare required reports and deliverables, including biweekly status reports, annual reporting inputs, after-action reports, class rosters, and other contract-required documentation.

Comply with U.S. Government, host-nation, safety, CUI, travel, and administrative requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Airframe and Powerplant certification.

At least five years of C-145 aircraft experience, including airframe, power plant, and electrical systems using technical data sheets and service bulletins.

At least five years of experience maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft.

At least two years of experience developing and delivering maintenance or logistics training modules to foreign militaries.

U.S. citizenship required.

Must possess and maintain a U.S. passport.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally unassisted.

Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. and/or international driver’s license and be comfortable driving in the U.S. and partner-nation environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior C-145 or similar fixed-wing sustainment support in an OCONUS environment.

Prior partner-nation advisory, mentorship, or security cooperation experience.

Experience with aviation maintenance management, QA/QC, technical publications, aircraft supply chains, and sustainment reporting.

Familiarity with SPOT, APACS, FCG, country clearance, and U.S. Government travel requirements.
