Position Summary
The GitLab Administrator supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by administering, maintaining, and optimizing GitLab for version control, repository management, and secure DevSecOps workflows. This role ensures code collaboration, tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations across all program work orders.

Job Description
• The GitLab Administrator is responsible for establishing and maintaining GitLab repositories for version control, code collaboration, and tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations.
• The position requires implementing role-based access controls (RBAC) in GitLab, ensuring only authorized personnel can access and modify repositories.
• Administrators will configure CI/CD pipelines and manage access control ensuring secure DevSecOps integration.
• The role includes submitting the GitLab Access & Security Compliance Report documenting repository management, user access controls, and security policies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
The contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field; or
• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in GitLab administration.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
• Managing Git repositories and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensuring secure DevSecOps integration and access control policies.
• Implementing automated testing frameworks and software configuration management.
• Role-based access controls (RBAC) and security policy enforcement.
• Code collaboration and version control best practices.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Expertise in Git repository management, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and access control policies.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices and automated testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in software configuration management and security compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills to support software development teams.
• Ability to implement role-based access controls and ensure repository security.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• GitLab Certified Associate (Preferred, Not Required)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (Preferred, Not Required)
Clearance Requirement
• No clearance required for off-site duty location, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance as specified by the program.
