We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer Staff: Ground Test Lead to support the Strategic Reentry Programs (SRP).

In this role you will:

• Serve as the primary technical focal point for integration and test activities across engineering disciplines, suppliers, and manufacturing organizations

Support planning for systems/hardware integration and test activities to include ground testing

• Be responsible for coordinating test equipment design and procurement, in collaboration with other disciplines

• Be responsible for CDRL development and delivery to the customer

• Support requirements and verification team with specifications

• Participate in reviews of design drawings/schematics, specifications, and test procedures

• Have excellent organization and troubleshooting skills and be proficient in understanding hardware/software design, requirements generation, product development, test execution, and verification activities

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience leading or participating in integration and test activities for complex hardware/software systems in aerospace, defense, and/or a correlated field

• Experience developing formal test plans for development, qualification, and/or acceptance test programs

• Experience coordinating integrated tests for development, qualification, and/or acceptance test programs internal and external to organization

• Experience troubleshooting integrated systems in laboratory and/or field environments

• Experience generating technical test documentation and/or formal verification artifacts

• Familiarity with environmental and functional test methodologies

• Active or Current Secret Clearance, and ability to obtain and maintain a TS clearance; US Citizenship required

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related STEM discipline

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience leading or participating in integration and test activities for complex hardware/software systems in aerospace, defense, correlated field

• Experience in a test and requirements verification environment

• Experience in Test Operations including the test planning and development process, and electrical ground test equipment

• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change

• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering

• Knowledge of DOORS, Automation Framework, and ePDM

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members

• Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate

• Active DoD Top Secret level clearance or above with investigation within the last 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
