We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to support enterprise Salesforce solution architecture in a large-scale customer environment. This role focuses on Salesforce security architecture, scalable data modeling, integration strategy, production delivery, modernization, release and deployment governance, and senior customer communication. The Salesforce Technical Architect works with cross-functional teams through the Agile lifecycle to translate business and technical needs into secure, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide Salesforce solution architecture leadership focused on secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
· Design efficient Salesforce data models and advise on security model considerations, including data access controls and permissions.
· Define integration strategies and middleware patterns to connect Salesforce with enterprise applications and external systems.
· Guide Agile teams through architecture planning, production delivery, and migration of legacy capabilities to modern platforms.
· Provide architectural input on release management, source control, and deployment technologies for efficient software delivery.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate solution options, risks, recommendations, and status to senior customer stakeholders.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· 8+ years of Salesforce solution architecture experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce environments.
· Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification from a recognized credentialing agency is required.
· Deep understanding of the Salesforce security model, including data access controls and permissions.
· Experience with full lifecycle Agile program management in Salesforce.
· Experience delivering solutions to production and/or migrating legacy applications to modern platforms, including Salesforce.
· Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative work environment.
· Ability to design efficient and scalable data models within Salesforce.
· Proficiency in integration patterns and middleware to connect Salesforce with other systems.
· Experience effectively communicating with senior levels of a customer organization.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and design effective solutions.
· Familiarity with release management, source control, and deployment technologies for efficient software delivery.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
· Experience supporting enterprise Salesforce platform governance, including multi-org environments, application onboarding/offboarding, enterprise configuration, release calendar governance, and certificate maintenance.
· Experience conducting Salesforce technology/capability analysis, developing technical recommendations, and presenting proofs of concept to technical leadership.
EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
CLEARANCE:
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
