Lead Aircraft Integration and Airworthiness for the World's Most Advanced Military Aircraft:
If you're an experienced aerospace engineering leader who enjoys bringing complex aircraft systems together while ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, certification, and mission readiness, this is an opportunity to shape the future of military aviation.
As the Aircraft Systems Integration & Airworthiness Manager, you'll lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for integrating aircraft systems by driving technical execution and ensuring airworthiness across advanced aircraft programs. Closely collaborating with other engineering teams, you'll lead a functional engineering team responsible for Air Vehicle Design Engineering integration across the broader Vehicle Systems engineering team, including full-time deployed Engineering support to the Factory, Flight Line, and Sustainment Operations.
This role is ideal for experienced systems engineering leaders who thrive in technically complex environments and enjoy balancing engineering excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and program execution.
What You Will Be Doing
• Grow and maintain Integration & Airworthiness engineering competencies to meet program demands
• Establish team vision, goals, and objectives that support higher-level program and organizational strategic outcomes
• Manage the Technical workforce, planning and staffing - including manpower estimates/forecasts/planning to support programs
• Identify, mitigate and build critical/fragile skills - including planning, managing and prioritizing training and competency development to ensure Knowledge Continuity
• Lead development of a Digital Thread from Requirements thru Fabrication to Verification (utilizing MBSE/Cameo/Siemens tool suites)
• Establish Systems Engineering best practices and Re-use Ecosystem
• Forecast and manage indirect & direct budget for the team
• Perform OBS management role responsibilities.

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, equivalent discipline considered)
• Experience managing budget, schedule, and technical scope and associated EVM techniques
• Experience developing processes, plans, and schedules
• Technical lead or team leadership experience
• Systems engineering experience
• Project engineering/leadership experience
• Cross-functional collaboration skills

• Engineering experience within Integration & Airworthiness competencies
• Formal leadership experience
• Prior experience in one or more Vehicle Systems/Flight Sciences competency areas
• Formal CAM Experience
• Functional, Project or Program leadership experience in Systems Engineering as Applied to Air Vehicle Design & Development
• Technical expertise in Air Vehicle Design & Development for flight/safety-critical systems
• Experience in multiple areas of VS engineering or VS-related lines of business, especially those associated with Software Intensive Systems
• Knowledge of LM Aero Online Systems (VEMO, PDM, JDL, Tableau)
• Experience arranging and managing Tech Services support
• Experience conducting Structured Improvement Activities
• Strong executive and team level communication skills - both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across organizational levels and entities
• Experience planning and forecasting resources (manpower, material, etc.)
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Technical problem-solving and strong analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and diverse team environments
