THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented level 2 Logistics Engineer with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to work from our Huntsville, Al location.
Are you a creative thinker and problem solver? We are looking for an ambitious Logistics Engineer to join the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) team.
You will assist assigned Project Engineer Lead with the development of material and maintenance documentation.
This documentation supports the fielding and maintaining of seven (7) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) units being deployed throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Key tasks include but limited to:
• Research maintenance and troubleshooting procedures, and provide supporting documentation
• Assist with disseminating information and procedures to deployed units through the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Logistic Operations Center (KLOC) or In-Country Contract Logistics Support (CLS) leadership as directed
• Provide feedback to Project Engineer Lead on effectiveness of implemented troubleshooting procedures and ease of understanding
• Conduct logistical and supply chain analysis to reduce lead times for high failure parts (if required).
• Must possess the ability to grasp technical concepts provided by Systems Engineers, and translate/document those concepts into a format easily understood by the Soldier.
• Provide technically accurate, grammatically correct, interactive electronic technical manual documentation and other technical documentation for THAAD Fielded Units.
This is an EMERGING PROFESSIONAL (level 2) ROLE where candidates typically require 1+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

Basic Qualifications:
• Understanding of logistical/sustainment processes to include maintenance and supply
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative/team-based environment
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx 20%)
• Aptitude to multi-task and employ solid problem solving techniques
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Business Management degree (4-years) from an accredited university focusing on organizational and project leadership
• Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and management
• Mideast multi-cultural experience
• Short notice travel to Saudi Arabia or domestically as required to support critical mission requirements

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
