Kentro is hiring a Program Manager to support a USSOCOM opportunity. This role is responsible for providing overall program management, operational oversight, resource coordination, and customer engagement to ensure successful execution of contractual requirements across geographically dispersed teams and technical environments. The Program Manager will collaborate closely with Government stakeholders, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams to drive program performance, mitigate risks, support strategic objectives, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with mission needs.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with experience managing large-scale IT, engineering, or enterprise service programs in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities
- Program Management: Provide overall management, direction, administration, and leadership for BPA execution, ensuring successful delivery of program objectives, compliance requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Team Oversight: Oversee contractor and subcontractor personnel supporting the BPA, coordinating day-to-day activities, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and ensuring effective collaboration across functional teams.
- Resource Management: Manage overall BPA performance to ensure optimal utilization of assigned personnel, technical resources, and program funding while supporting schedule, quality, and mission objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Support and enforce quality assurance standards and processes in accordance with contractual requirements, ensuring deliverables and services meet established performance expectations and customer requirements.
- Government Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for Government stakeholders, responding to issues, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner while supporting effective communication and relationship management.
- Decision Making and Issue Resolution: Exercise delegated authority to make program-related decisions on behalf of the contractor organization and proactively identify, communicate, and help resolve contractual, programmatic, technical, or resource-related risks and issues.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor program execution, technical progress, and operational performance to ensure alignment with contract objectives, customer expectations, and organizational priorities.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks impacting program delivery and coordinate mitigation strategies to minimize operational, contractual, and resource impacts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing projects and programs of similar scope, scale, and complexity within a federal or defense contracting environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing contractor methodologies, operational approaches, and program execution activities, including oversight of SCRUM-based and agile project delivery efforts for large, complex programs supporting multiple OCONUS locations and Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives.
- Proven experience supporting projects involving foreign Host Nation engagement and Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requirements, regulations, and processes across geographically dispersed Areas of Responsibility (AOR).
- Strong understanding of program management principles, resource allocation, risk management, quality assurance, and performance monitoring within complex enterprise or mission-focused environments.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership, Government customers, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify issues, develop solutions, and drive successful program outcomes.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF), Combatant Command (COCOM/CCMD), or other Department of Defense (DoD) mission environments.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks, including Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) methodologies and related strategic planning activities.
- Experience managing programs involving cloud modernization, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, Big Data, or enterprise IT transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of federal acquisition processes, GSA contract vehicles, BPA administration, and proposal development activities, including oral presentations.
- Prior experience managing geographically dispersed teams and subcontractors in CONUS and OCONUS environments.
- Working knowledge of IT service management (ITSM), Agile, SCRUM, and SAFe methodologies.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility to SCI based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
- Must be a U.S. citizen
