Key Responsibilities:
- System Design & Implementation: Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
- Security & Redundancy: Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations.
Required Skills
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a systems engineer
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of network architecture, server administration, virtualization (e.g., Python).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to see the big picture, analyze complex systems, and perform cost-benefit analyses.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
