We're seeking a strategic, organized, and proactive Information Technology (IT) subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader with expertise in technical areas, specializing in Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, and associated platforms and tools. As the IT SME, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and will advise the Government Program Manager (PM) regarding technical questions and issues that may arise from the various systems the PM is overseeing.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing technical expertise in creating, updating, maintaining, and visualizing software architecture to include data.


• Providing technical documentation to support the architecture of the portfolio of projects to include Concept of Operations (CONOPs).


• Serving as a technical liaison with regard to system architecture that focuses on performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and information security.


• Collaborating with customers to evaluate mission drivers, identify challenges, define mitigation strategies, assess applications, develop transition plans, and develop business cases in support of Cloud and other initiatives.


• Providing technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and providing implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.


• Assisting the customer with technical oversight of the Service Provider(s) for the portfolio of projects.


• Providing technical leadership for the integration of IT requirements, design, and technology.


• Interacting with the Government regarding systems engineering IT technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.


• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.


• Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.


• Assist stakeholders with data related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active TS/SCI with Poly


• Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years or more of relevant experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.


• 3-5 years of experience working within an IC Agency, preferably ODNI.


• 3+ years of hands on experience with Cloud and Enterprise Architecture.


• Experience with IT governance.


• Broad experience and understanding to be able to provide sound technical advice to the Government PM on a range of topics.


• Ability to communicate and dynamically translate information between end users, software developers, IT professionals, mission subject matter experts, geospatial subject matter experts, government and contractor project and program management, and senior executives.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


• Possess familiarity with Python.


• Familiar with GitHub in order to develop and maintain methodologies for data cleaning, processing and analysis.


• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for documentation and project management purposes.
