Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Electronic Technician VI - Combat Systems Exterior Communication Systems in Mayport, FL.
Summary: The Electronic Technician VI will provide technical support, troubleshooting, assessment, repair oversight, and maintenance assistance for U.S. Navy Combat Systems Exterior Communication Systems in support of fleet operations and maintenance requirements. This position supports shipboard mechanical, electrical, and electronic combat systems equipment assessments, casualty response, readiness inspections, and maintenance activities in accordance with the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and fleet operational requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provides technical support for the evaluation, troubleshooting, isolation, repair oversight, correction, and checkout testing of Combat Systems Exterior Communication Systems and associated shipboard equipment.
Uses technical expertise to analyze mechanical, electrical, and electronic casualties and provide corrective recommendations to restore systems to full operational capability.
Performs operational assessments, maintenance support, and oversight of shipboard systems and equipment during TSRAs, Ballistic Missile Defense Readiness Assessments (BMDRAs), INSURVs, Mid-Cycle Inspections (MCIs), Combat Systems Assessments (CSAs), Pre-Deployment Assessments, and related inspection programs.
Interprets equipment technical manuals, electrical schematics, drawings, and maintenance documentation to support troubleshooting and repair activities.
Provides integrated logistics support including logistics audits, reviews, and assessments to evaluate the adequacy of technical documentation, repair parts, tools, support equipment, configuration management, and test equipment.
Provides training and technical guidance related to maintenance, overhaul, and repair procedures for shipboard combat systems equipment.
Documents maintenance actions, technical findings, and completed corrective actions through written reports and required fleet maintenance documentation.
Maintains compliance with prescribed fleet maintenance requirements, safety procedures, and Government regulations.
Provides on-site technical support Monday through Friday during normal working hours in support of fleet maintenance operations.
Performs other duties as assigned in support of maintenance, repair, logistics, and technical operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience supporting U.S. Navy combat systems, exterior communication systems, or related shipboard mechanical/electrical/electronic systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Working knowledge of Maintenance and Material Management (3M) systems.
Experience troubleshooting and assessing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems with emphasis on electronics systems.
Experience supporting assessment, maintenance, and oversight of U.S. Navy Exterior Communication Systems.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams.
Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Ability to travel up to 25% as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess NECs V82A, V95A, or related Navy NECs.
Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
Prior experience supporting U.S. Navy fleet readiness inspections, assessments, or shipboard maintenance availabilities.

Tasks performed involve work in both office and shipboard environments, including confined spaces, secure areas, and elevated work locations.
Job may require bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, and working in environments with varying temperatures and shipboard conditions.
