Job Description
Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Software Programmer to work with a team to develop and maintain the Centurion Project solution for STRATCOM J722 at Offutt AFB, NE.

What you will be doing:
- Six or more years' experience as a software developer
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Experience with Object oriented programming
- Experience with Web development (JavaScript, HTML)
- Basic database knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- The ability to be Security+ Certified within 90 days of employment
- Security Clearance: Secret Clearance to start and must be eligible for Top Secret Clearance
- Experience in the Centurion Project developing the software in a DoD environment is a plus.
- Basic Proficiency in Python, Django, JavaScript, HTML, PostgreSQL are a plus.
- Performs full software life cycle including: Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications within the Centurion Project.
- Interacting with customers to gather requirements and offering creative solutions, writing documentation, presenting project designs, performing user training and attending requirements meetings.
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
- Utilize software engineering best practices (unit testing, code reviews, design documentation).
- Experience or understanding of OPIR ground reporting systems is a plus.
- Experience or understanding of NPES is a plus.
- Strong software troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills are a plus.
- Ability to "emotionally disconnect" and clearly express problems to project leaders when confronted with impossible requests or assumptions about how easy or simple things should be.
