The Deputy Program Manager, Australia GSC Program supports delivery of the Commonwealth of Australia-funded Australian Global Supply Chain (GSC) Agreement. This role helps lead a multi-year program that integrates Australian companies - especially small and medium enterprises - into Northrop Grumman's global supply chain for global aerospace and defense opportunities. The deputy program manager drives supplier development and competitiveness through mentorship, training, and program exposure, while developing and implementing advanced supply chain strategies that enable technology maturation, operational deployment, and business unit performance. The role is highly collaborative, coordinating cross-functional teams across enterprise sectors and Mission Systems leadership, engaging Australian government and industry stakeholders, and aligning industrial engagement, internal make/buy strategies, and strategic partnerships to grow a resilient Australian supplier base.
The manager will work under the Senior Corporate Director, International Industrial Engagement & Partnership, while reporting directly to the Manager, International Sourcing & Industrial Engagement.
This position can be worked in Linthicum, MD, Melbourne, FL, Falls Church, VA, or Charlottesville, VA.

Primary Level Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $165,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Responsibilities include:
- Identify and lead projects in support of the Australia Global Supply Chain (GSC) Agreement including supplier strategies, program engagements, funding management, and customer engagements
- Monitor and evaluate industry and supplier trends with focus on international regions and provide insight/ guidance to future direction
- Monitor key supplier organization, business and financial activities and provide recurring supplier intelligence guidance and manage global approved supplier database
- Serve as Strategic Sourcing export subject matter expert and lead engagement activities with Export Management Systems
- Support key international campaigns and capture priorities relevant to Australia and the GSC program as needed
- Align AUS GSC Agreement to enterprise-wide Australian Industry Capability requirements
- Facilitate cross-sector collaboration among corporate functions, NGAPL, and external partners to maintain alignment with program objectives.
- Develop executive-level presentations for program reviews and ad-hoc briefings
- Design and deliver the GSC Roadshow, communicating both the GSC Agreement and Australian Industry Capability initiatives to internal and external audiences
- Develop a robust AUS supplier training program to increase the effectiveness and responsiveness of AUS suppliers to meet NGC supply chain requirements
- Demonstrate highly effective interpersonal skills, commitment to fostering an engaging environment for others and excellent communication skills
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, program management, customer engagement, or international supplier management.
- Experience using MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 1+ year of team lead, management of people, or engagement with senior leadership
- Experience with export control requirements and export licensing (e.g., DSEAs, DSP-5's, MLA's)
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP experience
- Experience negotiating complex contracts or supplier agreements (e.g., long-term service agreements, teaming agreements, strategic alliances, MOA's, overriding agreements)
- Experience managing international supply chain programs and/or activities
- Experience using agile project management methods for planning and execution.
- Experience working with Mission Systems product lines and technology building blocks.
- Experience engaging Northrop Grumman's international entities (e.g., NG Australia, NGUK, MSEs)
- Experience leading customer engagements, including high level customer briefings.
