Description:
You will be the Configuration & Data Management (CDM) Point of Contact for the XYZ contract team. Our team safeguards the integrity of product data, drives configuration control, and enables seamless change management across the program's lifecycle.
What You Will Be Doing
As the CDM POC you will own the end to end implementation of configuration and data management processes on the XYZ contract. You'll serve as the trusted liaison between engineering, program management, and suppliers, ensuring that every change is tracked, reviewed, and released with precision.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Actively participating in the Integrated Product/Process Team (IPT) and representing CDM interests.
• Reviewing and providing comments on Program Planning documents such as the Program Management Plan, Statement of Work, and Statement of Requirements.
• Developing, publishing, and maintaining the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) for the program.
• Enforcing Configuration Control activities and standards throughout the contract.
• Facilitating Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting decisions.
• Analyzing engineering change packages for technical and programmatic impact and advising stakeholders.
• Setting up and overseeing workflow teams in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, acting as the workflow coordinator.
• Validating Change Notice (CN) content to meet Lockheed Martin command media and program specific requirements.
• Managing initial releases and all subsequent revisions of the Technical Data Package (TDP).

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
Ability to obtain an active Secret clearance
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience using Configuration Status Accounting tools including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• Experience implementing Configuration Change Board (CCB) processes and procedures
• Experience reading and releasing engineering drawings and documentation including bills of material
• Experience with serialization of hardware and Item Unique Identification standards
• Familiarity with data markings, formatting and handling of documentation
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse technical and business personnel
• Experience with hardware and software Configuration Management
• Experience with developing CDM Plans and implementing CDM processes on complex development programs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
