Lockheed Martin Space seeks a motivated Software QA Engineer to join the FBM team. The selected engineer will be involved in all phases of the software engineering process, including but not limited to:
• Designing, executing, and documenting functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Building and maintaining automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Writing and validating user story acceptance criteria to ensure each feature meets its intended purpose.
• Documenting test findings clearly and concisely for stakeholders.
• Debugging and troubleshooting software issues across embedded and ground based platforms.
• Applying continuous improvement methodology to refine test processes, tooling, and overall product quality.
In this collaborative role you will work with developers, systems engineers, and mission stakeholders to deliver high quality, reliable custom aerospace applications for internal and external partners.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with software testing, including:
functional testing, integration testing and regression
testing
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Experience with writing, and validating user story
acceptance criteria
- US Citizenship Required. The Applicant must have
the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
No clearance needed to start this role.

- Experience with capturing test findings from user
acceptance testing events
- Experience with test planning
- Experience with Cypress testing framework

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
