Markon company is seeking an expert-level Data Sceintist and Systems Engineer to support an Intelligence customer from Chantilly, VA. This position would directly impact the readiness and capabilities of this client's AI technologies as a blend of systems engineering and data science responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with governance, technology, and other technical and specialized teams while being able to integrate, organize, and communicate large volumes of data.
- Assess and validate the systems requirements and solutions, and its characterization across Sponsor organization.
- Finesse large amounts of data into manageable interfaces.
- Collaborate and communicate across multiple Sponsor organizations.
- Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and content management support for Sponsor's internal risk management framework.
- Develop data models, diagrams, flow charts, other system engineering related documentation to problem solve, identify improvements, create standards and facilitate cross-organizational collaboration.
- Leverage multiple data management tools such as link analysis to organize relevant information and make decisions.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, develop evaluation CONOPS, coordinate customer and stakeholder meetings.
- Assess and validate risk management controls, questionnaire, and lexicon across Sponsor organization.
- Identify technology opportunities and gaps in technical capabilities and process.
- Clearly communicate verbally and in writing technical analysis in briefing and in report format.
- Assess risk, impact and developing contingencies to mitigat issues related to the Internet.
Qualifications
Required
- Active TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related technical field
- Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing structure and unstructured data and streamlining business process; making customized algorithms and data modeling.
- Demonstrated experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or other Virtualization Software.
- Demonstrated experience with data visualization and link analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working with programming languages Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience with graph database technologies and cypher query language.
- Demonstrated experience with building tools for management of technical signatures.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud Infrastructure with in a high security environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing logical workflows for complex decision matrices.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and developing strategies to solve complex system engineering challenges in cross-organizational environment.
Desired
- Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in a field related to the position
- 15+ years' experience
- 3 years' experience in the Intelligence Community
- Demonstrated experience with Agile frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience with using Tableau.
- Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor regulations governing, or related to, the management of sub-compartmented dissemination programs.
- Demonstrated experience processing and integrating large amounts of information in an organized and comprehensible manner.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and validating requirements from user stories and engagement.
