- The Senior Commercial Logistics Planner coordinates the ongoing logistical functions of an organization by managing product life cycles and resource distribution.
- Analyze logistical data to identify process improvements and ensure efficient internal allocation of assets.
- Implement supply chain policies and oversee the delivery of resources to multiple geographically dispersed locations.
- Manages the execution of current and future commercial logistics planning tasks for special operations command centers in the Indo-Pacific.
- Evaluate commercial supply chain data to prioritize resource movements and ensure infrastructure reliability for high-impact mission sets.
- Lead the coordination of commercial vendors and logistics hubs to resolve operational bottlenecks affecting theater-wide readiness.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of position-relevant experience.
- Experience in quality gate oversight and developing technical logistics protocols.
- CSCP or PMP certification or a related field.
- Experience with commercial transportation networks in the Indo-Pacific.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD logistics and force protection protocols.
- Must hold an active Secret clearance
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
