Summary
The position will support recruiting efforts nationwide while supporting senior Recruiters and Hiring Managers to find qualified candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position includes the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Conducts resume reviews for all exempt and non-exempt positions for corporate office and contract personnel as assigned.
  • Under supervision write, edit and modify job postings for various sites.
  • Posts jobs on job sites and unemployment job sites.
  • Verifies candidates meet position requirements.
  • Gains understanding of DoD required certifications and assists in validating requirements.
  • Schedules initial interviews and makes recommendations of candidates for interviews.
  • Following implemented processes, maintains Department of Labor compliance concerning recruitment.
  • Creates a pipeline of active and passive candidates using variety of sourcing methods such as social networking, professional associations, and professional meetings.
  • Completes necessary pre-employment process including reference and background checks.
  • Coordinates job fairs after approved schedule. Responsible for setup, attendance and travel.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university preferred and a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • One-year experience recruiting in the government contract DoD environment preferred. 
  • Experience recruiting and sourcing professional positions such as engineers, scientists, and IT security professionals is necessary. 
  • Experience with DoD Baseline Certification requirements and DoD security clearance requirements is helpful.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully a minimum of two years of experience with Microsoft Office; Applicant Tracking Software and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) software helpful.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Travel

This position may be required to travel up to 10% and may include air travel.
