Job Description
The Production Control Specialist is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials from procurement through final assembly, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality aerospace components. This role requires a strong understanding of production processes, inventory control, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with stringent aerospace industry standards. You will be a critical link between Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality departments.
This is a first shift position working a 5/40 work week. There is some flexibility with start time.
* Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and material availability.
* Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory levels, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
* Expedite materials and work orders as needed to meet production deadlines.
* Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely material delivery.
* Work closely with Manufacturing to optimize production flow and minimize downtime.
* Maintain accurate records of production activities and inventory transactions within the MRP/ERP System ORACLE.
* Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards and all applicable FAA regulations.
* Investigate and resolve material shortages, routing issues, and other production-related problems.
* Create and maintain reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and production efficiency.
* Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
* Assist with the implementation of process improvements to enhance production control efficiency.

Full-Time Salary Range: $61278 - $104173

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in production planning or control or manufacturing experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in production planning or control, *aerospace experience a plus*.
- Proven proficiency with Oracle.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
