Overview
The Director of Operations will serve as the senior leader for Florida, responsible for overseeing construction projects, building and leading teams, and driving operational and financial performance.
This is a hands-on role with full ownership of execution, staffing, and regional expansion. The initial focus will be an active project in Riviera Beach, with additional projects launching in the Miami area.

The Director of Operations will serve as the senior leader for Florida, responsible for overseeing construction projects, building and leading teams, and driving operational and financial performance.
This is a hands-on role with full ownership of execution, staffing, and regional expansion. The initial focus will be an active project in Riviera Beach, with additional projects launching in the Miami area.
Location & Travel
- Current project based in Riviera Beach (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Miami)
- New Miami office opening in Wynwood or Brickell
- Once the Miami office opens, this role will be primarily based there
- Two additional projects are expected to launch in the Miami market
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Florida operations across multiple construction projects
- Own financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Build and lead the Florida team across operations, project management, and field personnel
- Drive regional growth by establishing processes, teams, and project execution standards
- Manage projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Oversee project managers, subcontractors, and field teams
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor and vendor agreements
- Monitor performance across budget, schedule, and quality metrics
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners in Florida
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in construction operations, project management, or development
- Experience leading multiple projects and overseeing field execution
- Strong background managing both project teams and field operations
- Experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
- Deep understanding of the full construction lifecycle
- Proven ability to manage complex builds and resolve challenges in real time
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
Compensation
- Base Salary: $170,000 – $216,000 + Bonus (flexible based on experience)
