Description:

You will be the Digital & Power Circuit Design Engineer for the Andover, MA hardware development team. Our team creates high reliability, multi function electronic modules that power advanced aerospace and defense systems for Lockheed Martin and our global customers.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Digital & Power Circuit Design Engineer you will own the complete life cycle of complex modules-from concept, through prototype, to full rate production-while mentoring teammates and collaborating across disciplines. Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining architecture, schematic capture, layout, and bill of materials for digital, power, and mixed signal circuits using industry standard tools (Cadence, Mentor, Altium, etc.).

• Leading prototype builds, board level testing, and root cause investigations to resolve performance, signal integrity, and power delivery issues.

• Driving design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization throughout the product life cycle, and handing designs off to manufacturing support.

• Acting independently to identify and fix issues that arise during integration, qualification, and field operation.

• Mentoring junior engineers, sharing best practices, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.

• Partnering with hardware, systems, RF, and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with program requirements.

• Contributing to technical proposals and business capture activities, translating customer needs into compelling solution statements.

• Preparing technical documentation, design reviews, and high impact briefings for senior engineering, program management, and customers.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) accepted plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional engineering experience or 6 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Extensive experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues for digital and power circuit applications.

Extensive experience with the use of electronic test equipment and circuit simulation tools.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field.

Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance

Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including digital and power architecture development for RF systems.

Experience designing high speed digital modules, circuits or systems.

Experience designing low noise power modules, circuits or systems.

Extensive experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.

Extensive experience testing electronic products at the circuit card assembly (CCA), module, or subassembly level.

Expert level knowledge of electronics simulation tools including signal integrity and power integrity modeling.

Expertise with datalink or T/R module architecture.

Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.

Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.

Experience with customer interface including technical presentations.

Hands-on Hardware Experience

Ability to lead failure investigations on production and/or technical issues.

Ability work in a team collaborative environment especially with manufacturing and industrial engineers and/or operator on production support.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $139,600 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $160,500 - $278,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
