  • Interface with DOE program offices, national laboratories, startups, commercialization advisors, and accelerators to gather information, verify progress, and facilitate technology maturation activities.
  • Maintain organized program files, tracking tools, databases, and resource repositories to support efficient program management.
  • Support review and evaluation activities by monitoring commercialization readiness, assessing startup needs, and identifying gaps in support.
  • Monitor federal and DOE-specific SBIR/STTR policy updates, ensuring FESI program alignment with requirements and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement aimed at increasing program efficiency, data quality, and stakeholder experience.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, public policy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting federal R&D programs, commercialization programs, innovation initiatives, or grants/contract administration.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with technical data interpretation, commercialization metrics, or program evaluation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing structured reports or presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a hybrid setting.
  • Familiarity with federal program operations, R&D processes, startup support mechanisms, or financial assistance programs.
  • Proficiency with data management platforms, spreadsheets, CRM systems, or analytics tools.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to meet federal suitability requirements if required.

Security Requirement:
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SBIR/STTR programs, particularly DOE or other science agencies.
  • Knowledge of technology commercialization, startup development, market analysis, or entrepreneurial ecosystems.
