Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will be based in Venezuela and serve the US Embassy Venezuela BLS Services contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for ensuring program compliance with SOW requirements and quality. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

DUTIES:
- Support the integration of the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) program throughout operations to safeguard employees and foster an environment where everyone is a safety champion.
- Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
- Provide assistance as directed by the Project Manager and cover for personnel during heightened work requirements or gaps in key coverage.
- Work with Leadership on risk mitigation and improvement.
- Chair the Risk Review Board meetings and communicate risk related issues.
- Follow established policies and procedures; and collaborate with each functional area on improvement in a documented methodical manner.
- Drive Program Operational Excellence in the supply chain and vendor execution.
- Perform analysis on key metrics/processes and recommend improvements that maximize efficiencies in the supply chain and distribution to the end user.
- Assist each key area of the Program on reporting and simplifying risk/improvement metrics.
- Work in unison with all departments, or through corporate stakeholders to keep the Program in compliance with reporting and sustaining goals driven through the continuous improvement and operational excellence programs.
- Identify negative trends, areas of concern, and formulation of the appropriate countermeasures for stabilization.
- Work with Program Management to work on analysis and identification to increase value within the Program Portfolio.
- At the direction of the Project Manager communicate SOW standards with staff.
- Monitor and verify the integrity of the data with before distribution.
- Work with functional managers on their performance measures and communicate with Leadership accordingly.
- Through process review, determine workstreams where specified training can enhance safety and performance and champion the cause.
- Improve inbound Logistics and supplier performance for Program execution.
- Responsible for the management and oversight of Program Supply Chain Operations to include the Quality Consolidation Center (QCC).
- Improve QCC cross-dock, staff, and operational performance with focus on quality and material turn-around for Amentum business requirements.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIRED:
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
- Four (4) years in a contract performance management role,
- Ten (5) years in Supply Chain Management.
Education: BA or Masters Preferred.
Security Vetting:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.
Language Skills:
- Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements.
- Proficiency in written and verbal Spanish language is an added advantage
DESIRED:
- Five years' experience or more working on DoS and/or DOD programs.
- Five years' international experience in challenging locations, with a working knowledge of customs and cultural differences.
- Experience working with Amentum.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)

- Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
- Experience providing excellent customer services.
