Job Description
COLSA is seeking a System Administrator to support enterprise and Center-specific IT operations at the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) located at Stennis Space Center, MS. The selected candidate will provide administration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical support for enterprise systems, applications, and end-user computing environments supporting mission and operational activities.
Must reside within a commutable distance of Stennis Space Center and be able to work on-site as needed to support collaboration with functional managers and staff, system implementations, troubleshooting activities, operational support, and coordination efforts.

- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise systems, operating systems, applications, and infrastructure supporting NSSC operations
- Manage system configuration, deployment, patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, and operational availability across enterprise environments
- Provide advanced technical support and problem resolution for complex system, application, and user issues
- Support implementation and administration of Center-specific and third-party software solutions across enterprise and government-furnished environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain system reliability and continuity of operations
- Administer user accounts, access controls, authentication methods, and security configurations in accordance with organizational policies and standards
- Coordinate system changes, software deployments, and technical implementations with internal stakeholders and enterprise IT providers
- Support software lifecycle management activities, including software inventory, licensing coordination, and compliance monitoring
- Assist with vulnerability remediation, system hardening, patch management, and compliance with IT security requirements
- Support enterprise collaboration technologies, conference room systems, and operational A/V environments
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and operational support guidance
- Participate in planning, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise IT systems and processes

Required Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of related systems administration, enterprise IT support, or technical support experience
- Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments and enterprise applications
- Experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise software, operating systems, and user access management
- Working knowledge of Active Directory administration and enterprise authentication methods
- Familiarity with IT security principles, system hardening, patch management, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to pass a government background investigation and obtain access to public trust information

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using ServiceNow for ticket management and IT service support activities
- Experience supporting SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration environments
- Familiarity with network administration concepts and enterprise troubleshooting methodologies
- Experience with Druva backup and recovery solutions
- Familiarity with Information Assurance (IA) tools, cybersecurity practices, and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting government or enterprise IT environments preferred
