Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Logistics & Asset Management Analyst (Logistics, Sr. Analyst) professional to support a government client's Logistics Operations Division with personal property quality control, records management, accountability support, and data analysis services. The role supports the client's personal property management program through transaction quality checks, records administration, financial reconciliation, asset accountability support, and the preparation of formal reports and correspondence in support of audit readiness and logistics operations.
This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, with telework readiness and occasional on-site support at government facilities in the Washington, DC area, based on client requirements. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $85,000 - $100,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package. Responsibilities
- Perform daily quality control reviews of personal property transactions, including additions, excess actions, and record changes within applicable asset management systems.
- Maintain hard-copy and digital records for capitalized property and support barcode distribution and tracking activities.
- Execute error notification processes, including preparation of checklists, uploads, follow-up reminders, and communication with Property Custodians, Property Managers, and other property officials.
- Monitor and reconcile Unreconciled Purchase Order Request (UPOR) and related financial data to identify payments requiring accountable personal property records.
- Support acquisition and accountability activities related to personal property assets and associated documentation.
- Prepare and review capitalized asset files for compliance with agency standards; research and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Track and validate annual capitalized inventory activities, including follow-up on lost, damaged, or missing assets.
- Review Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) activity and related reports to support timely capitalization and reclassification of completed personal property assets.
- Acquire and analyze data from Sunflower personal property management system (PPMS), core financial system, and related systems to prepare monthly meeting slides, trend analysis, and management reports.
- Draft formal reports, meeting minutes, notifications, and correspondence to support Board of Review activities, line office reporting, and other branch requirements.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improved personal property accountability and internal controls.
- Provide support for audit readiness, pre-audit testing, and ad hoc reporting in accordance with branch priorities and government direction.
- Interpret and apply applicable policy, procedures, and records management requirements in daily operations.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, personal property management, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience performing quality control, records management, issue and disposal support, and acquisition/accountability-related work.
- Experience working with automated records or asset control systems and maintaining organized, accurate documentation.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, including the ability to review, interpret, and summarize large data sets.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and operational guidance in a federal or regulated environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting formal reports and professional correspondence.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project, as appropriate to the position.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet recurring deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and organization.
Desired Qualifications
- Foundational-Level Certified Logistics Associate 4.0 certification.
- Certified Logistics Technician 4.0 certification.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate certification.
- Experience supporting federal property management operations, audit support activities, or internal control reviews.
- Familiarity with Sunflower PPMS, CBS, barcode tracking processes, and NOAA or Department of Commerce property management practices.
