Job Description

The Airspace and Electronic Warfare (EW) Range Operations Manager (ROM) provides comprehensive planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution support for all range-related activities supporting Stennis operations. Serving as the central integrator for range usage, the ROM coordinates closely with NASA Stennis range authorities, NSW-West range personnel, FAA representatives, military stakeholders, and participating organizations to ensure safe, compliant, and mission-focused execution of training, testing, and exercise events.

The ROM is responsible for long-range and near-term scheduling, operational deconfliction, airspace coordination, electromagnetic spectrum management, and continuous improvement of range capabilities and infrastructure. This position specializes in the integration of controlled airspace operations and electronic warfare activities into complex joint training and testing environments.

Coordinate safety reviews, environmental considerations, spectrum approvals, and operational authorizations as required.
Coordinate range modernization efforts and capability enhancements related to airspace operations and EW systems.
Support after-action reviews (AARs) following exercises, tests, and operational events.
Capture lessons learned and develop recommendations to improve future range utilization, airspace coordination, and EW operations.
Prepare operational reports, schedules, status updates, risk assessments, and coordination documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
Up to 30% of travel is expected for this role, including overnight and out-of-state as required to support operations, customer engagements, or company initiatives.
