Title: Software Engineer-Test & Verification
Location: Cambridge, MA
Salary Range: $85-90/hr on w2
Contract: 12 Months, possible extension
Introduction
The company is seeking Test & Verification Engineers with a broad range of experience levels, including Experienced, Senior, and Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Technical Lead Engineer (TLE). These engineers will provide support for a new software engineering initiative involving CI/CD pipelines and AI tools. The role is fully onsite in Cambridge, MA.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry and typically 3 or more years' experience in a software engineering classification, or a Master's degree with 1 year of experience in a software engineering classification.
- Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.
- Experience with automated test and verification.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Education or experience in modern Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) techniques and/or use of AI Tools.
- Proficient in NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, and NI LabVIEW for HIL testing and automation, or similar HIL platforms.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Set up and configure test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments.
- Design, develop, and complete test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality.
- Execute test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects.
