Aerospace Software Engineer

Blacklynx, a Jacobs company, is seeking a talented and motivated Junior to Mid-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
Work scope may include the following duties:

Proficiency with Go programming language and best practices or other modern languages
Knowledge of Git version control
Knowledge of Git workflows and branching strategies
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Understanding of distributed systems patterns and challenges
Strong Experience with containerization and Docker
Experience with testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Experience coaching and mentoring junior employees

Preferred:

Experience with frontend development utilizing Angular
Experience with Kubernetes deployments and management in production
Experience with Kubernetes package management utilizing Helm
Knowledge of WebAssembly and wasmCloud or similar platforms
Configuring and managing Traefik or other API gateways/ingress controllers
Familiarity with observability tools
Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues
Cloud platforms experience (AWS/C2S)
Knowledge of security best practices in microservices

Clearance Required:

TS/SCI Clearance required to start this role.

Minimum Years of Experience:

BS degree from an accredited school and two (2) to five (5) years' experience.
