REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: Current active Secret Clearance
- CITIZENSHIP: Current U.S. Citizenship Required.
- CERTIFICATIONS: N/A
- EDUCATION / BACKROUND:
- 5+ years' experience as a n IT T echnician or related position
- Experience operating , troubleshoot ing , and repai ring network and computing equipment
- Experience operating and administering Linux based systems via shell
- Experience developing technical user documentation
- Able to work on small and large vessels in a dynamic environment
- Able to travel internationally and spend time testing at sea.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Current Secret security clearance
- Experience operating and troubleshooting SATCOM equipment
- Experience working onboard navy vessels
- Experience with unmanned systems
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in a dynamic team of IT professionals to operat e and maintain comput ing, network ing, software systems.
- Perform software updates and verify compliance with Cyber Security requirements
- Operat e alongside and provid e technical support to US Navy personnel
- Support at-sea testing of unmanned systems for the US Navy.
