Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Repair and Calibration Technicia n to join its Calibration Services team. This position is located in Annapolis, Maryland .
This is an onsite and 1st shift position.

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,517.00 - $132,658.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Repair and Calibration Technicia n to join its Calibration Services team. This position is located in Annapolis, Maryland .
This is an onsite and 1st shift position.
What You'll Get To Do:
- Repair and calibrate electronic , physical, dimensional, and optical power test equipment and instrumentation such as power supplies, amplifiers, recorders, meters, frequency counters, signal generators, oscilloscopes, optical power meters, torque products, and dimensional tools utilizing calibration procedures schematics, wiring diagrams, instruction manuals and associated data. Operate in compliance with ANSI Z540.1, ANSI Z540.3, and ISO 17025:2017 as applicable.
- Determine source of equipment malfunctions, component failure and/or calibration requirements utilizing tooling such as oscilloscopes, analyzers and bridges. Replace defective components, wiring and circuity determining functional quality of such components under a variety of operating conditions. Perform modifications on standard equipment following manufacturers' directions or as indicated.
- Calibrate and repair the more complicated equipment such as high frequency counters and fast rise time oscilloscopes following established procedures or explicit technical instructions and specification sheets.
- Affix prescribed stickers and tags to equipment meeting prescribed levels of performance, and record pertinent calibration and repair data as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain necessary reports and records as required.
- Induct and issue calibrated equipment to Annapolis customers.
- Prepare vendor calibration assets for shipment. Review vendor calibration documents for compliance to ANSI and ISO standards.
- Utilize a Calibration Management System (CMS) to perform and report calibration work .
- W ork independently and practice considerable technical judgement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess an Associates Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, OR a High school diploma or recognized equivalent and 6 years of related experience
- 6 months of military electronic school
- Minimum of 2 years working in the calibration , maintenance and repair of measuring and test equipment
- Must have knowledge of electronic principles and the ability to troubleshoot and replace defective parts and understand the operation of basic test equipment
