Senior Test & Evaluation Engineer

Clearance: Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.

Summary/Objective

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.

Essential Functions

• Provides support throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including but not limited to requirements development, production, sustainment or logistics activities.
• Provides Test expertise supporting the planning, coordinating and conducting developmental and operational tests including developing schedules, cost estimates, and documentation.
• Provides planning for Delta Qualification (DQ) events to transition between contract phases of acquisition.
• Coordinates with Army Capability Manager (ACM) or user and test community organizations, including the Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Cross Functional Team (CFT), ACM Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Brigade (BDE), Army Evaluation Center (AEC), Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) and test range personnel.
• Responsible for formulation of the opinions, decisions, and the ultimate performance of the task specified in the statement of work.
• Experience and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications, and perform system integration.
• Provides detailed data management, reporting, analysis and problem resolution.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Graduate/GED
• 17 years' relevant experience
• Requires experience and the ability to perform detailed and complex calculations plus knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced systems concepts, assess specifications, and perform system integration
