Job Description

NOVA is seeking a Senior Architect / Cloud Systems Engineer to L ead enterprise AI and data architecture initiatives supporting ITA AI systems, cloud modernization, AI-ready data services, and scalable platform integrations across OCIO environments.

*This position is contingent upon contract award.*

Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise architecture and cloud solution design
  • Provide technical leadership across AI and data modernization efforts
  • Support AI-ready data strategy and enterprise integrations
  • Advise product teams transitioning applications into O&M support
  • Ensure alignment with SAFe Agile delivery and DevSecOps practices
  • Support security, scalability, governance, and operational resilience initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Federal cloud modernization, AI systems, enterprise data services, and Azure-based architectures.
  • Years of Experience: 10+ Years
  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; Public Trust / NACI minimum
  • Certification Requirements: Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred; SAFe certification preferred
  • Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role: Experience with Azure cloud services, DevSecOps, AI/ML environments, enterprise integration patterns, and Federal compliance frameworks.


Work Location

Remote work is preferred, with occasional on-site support in Washington, DC, as required.
