General Summary:
Our client specializes in logistics, technology, and engineering services supporting defense, intelligence, and national security missions worldwide. They are seeking an experienced and mission-focused Deputy AFCAP Program Manager to support four AFCAP task orders across CENTCOM AOR, including operations at Al Udeid Air Base.
This is a high-visibility leadership role supporting expeditionary operations that deliver critical life support, logistics, engineering, operations, and maintenance services in austere environments.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the senior program leader with full accountability for execution and performance across multiple AFCAP task orders in CENTCOM.
Lead integrated service delivery operations, including life support, logistics, engineering, operations, and maintenance functions.
Manage full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility within a firm fixed-price contract environment, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial performance oversight.
Lead and support proposal development efforts, including preparation of Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation, pricing strategies, cost analysis, and contract bid submissions.
Ensure all program activities meet contractual requirements, operational objectives, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Provide leadership and mentorship to site managers and assistant site managers, fostering professional growth, performance improvement, and effective team management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior U.S. Government and military stakeholders, providing program oversight, reporting, and strategic guidance.
Support task order growth and expansion efforts, including small construction, infrastructure, and engineering-related projects.
Identify operational risks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, readiness, and mission effectiveness.
Coordinate closely with corporate leadership on staffing, financial performance, resource planning, and program execution strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
10+ years of experience in management roles of similar scope, scale, and complexity within government or expeditionary programs.
Two (2) years of program management experience within the last seven years, with demonstrated expertise in Government appropriations; Engineering, Construction, Services, or Commodities; Government acquisitions; and management of multiple task orders of a magnitude greater than $400K.
Financial management experience (Profit & Loss in firm fixed price environment).
Substantial proposal and BOE development experience.
Leadership skills to mentor site managers and assistant site managers.
Experience standing up task orders in OCONUS CENTCOM environment.
Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
Based in Panama City or Melbourne, Forida with willingness to travel as needed.
