Kratos is seeking a Facilities Operations Coordinator for the Corporate office. This position is on-site and requires the ability to obtain security clearance.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Facilities Operations Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of our physical facility and serve as the on-site facility security representative. This role provides essential support to maintenance mechanics and facilities staff by performing general "handyman" duties, including moving furniture, basic electrical tasks, spot painting, light construction, minor cleaning, and exterior upkeep. The Facilities Operations Coordinator will also assist with the coordination of facility and personnel security, HVAC support, office and break room supply management, and shipping and receiving activities. This position will also support the Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Corporate Government Property Administrator (GPA) in the management and administration of Kratos' security and government property programs, ensuring full compliance with all government regulations and company policies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Support the Corporate FSO/GPA in ensuring compliance with all applicable security and government property related requirements, to include requirements directed by Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), the 32 CFR Part 117, "National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual" Rule (NISPOM), the Security Executive Agent Directive (SEAD) 3, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) policies and procedures.
• Assist in managing various security and government property processes to include but not limited to; visit requests, initial security clearance submissions, reinvestigations, SEAD 3 reporting, notifying and reviewing annual property inventories, Contractor Self-Assessments and contract close-outs.
• Participate in the preparation for security and government property audits, reviews and inspections, to include Self-Inspections, Contractor Self-Assessments and Property Management System Analysis.
• Oversee security and government property records, reports, and documentation in compliance with government and company policies and procedures.
• Perform basic building maintenance, including minor repairs, patching, painting, and cleaning.
• Work with property management personnel and outside contractors on building and equipment upkeep/repairs, including after-hours maintenance efforts and projects.
• Coordinate media, data, and material destruction per company policy.
• Maintain min/max inventory of office and break room supplies and generate applicable purchase requests.
• Maintain employee and visitor badge access in compliance with company policy.
• Maintain mailroom equipment, shipping materials and other supplies.
• Maintain and coordinate maintenance of onsite facilities and equipment, including First-aid/safety equipment.
• Manage vendors to company priorities and service level agreements.
• Manage printer maintenance supplies and device lifecycle through external vendor(s).
• Operate site equipment as needed, using hand and power tools as necessary.
• Coordinate inter-office mail deliveries, wastepaper recycling, and stocking of employee break areas.
• Sanitize high touch work surfaces on a regular basis per company protocols.
• Assist in hosting corporate visitors/dignitaries.
• Coordinate maintenance of company vehicles and drive to shipping facilities to meet shipment deadlines
• After-hour work may be required in response to emergencies or urgent requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Top Secret clearance required, or the ability to obtain an interim Secret.
• Must obtain FSO certification for possessing facility within 6 months of appointment.
• Must have a valid California DL and clean driving record, ability to drive manual transmission a plus.
• Preferred knowledge, and understanding, of the following:
o 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM
o Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
o National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)
o Cal-Osha 10 certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of onboarding
o Current CPR, First-Aid and AED certifications, or ability to obtain within 90 days of onboarding
o Experience with FedEx software and preparing documents or equipment for shipment
• Preferred familiarity with completing/submitting the following:
o Visitor Management Requirements
o Facility Security Procedures
o Badge and Camera Software
• Required skills are as follows:

o Problem-solver with a desire to learn
o Proficient in Microsoft Suite, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies.
• Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing, and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment, and changes, and more.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.

• Ability to maintain knowledge, skills, and abilities as it pertains to your job.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or minimum of 4 years relevant experience in security, facilities managements and/or government property.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Front Office Environment
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
