Job Description
The Power Generation & Infrastructure Engineer (PG&I) will be a skilled, efficient, and licensed Electrical/HVAC contractor. The engineer will be detail oriented with practical experience in HVAC systems and sub-systems. The engineer will be adept and performing adjustments and calibrations on electronic and electrical control systems. Experience troubleshooting and resolving electrical equipment problems is a must. Must have experience, with the knowledge and skills, to maintain and repair commercial and tactical generators and subsystems, to include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic operating systems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design power generation facilities (e.g., gas engines, solar arrays, fuel cells) and electrical distribution infrastructure.
- Manage engineering activities from conceptual design through to construction, testing, and final commissioning.
- Collaborate with utility providers to negotiate grid interconnections and ensure compliance with local and military regulations and requirements.
- Create predictive maintenance programs and troubleshoot plant or infrastructure failures to minimize downtime.
- Conduct load forecasting, thermodynamic analysis, and energy modeling to maximize efficiency and control operational costs.
- Ensure all infrastructure designs meet strict industry, environmental, and governmental regulatory standards.
- Resolve complex energy and controls management issues, using diagnostic tools and measurements.
- Operating, controlling, and monitoring energy management systems, air handling units, pumps, compressed air systems and vacuum systems using information technology-based facilities. M
- Adhering to code specification for equipment tests and repair while deciphering schematic diagrams and blueprints.
- Operate and repair large tonnage equipment, Generators, and chill water systems.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience with electrical and HVAC systems
- Must have Top Secret personnel clearance and must be eligible for a TS/SCI.
- Install, repair, and maintain generators (3kw to 100kw 50,60 and 400HZ)
- Maintenance and repair of mobile and fixed communications ECUs.
- Installation and service of HVAC/Electrical commercial, industrial and residential heating and air-condition systems, energy management and controls wiring, light commercial and residential wiring, high and low voltage, upgrading services single and 3-phase.
- Hands on troubleshooting and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Capable of performing ad-hoc requests for complicated QA or Design services with some explanation and oversight.
- Pneumatic Controls experience
- Digital Air Volume experience, preferred.

- HVAC State Contractors License - Electrical
- ServSafe Certification
- National HVAC Certification by NCCER
- Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification
- National Electrical Code Certification
- Master Electricians Certification
