Job Description

The Role
We need a Director of Service Delivery who has operated at scale in complex, classified environments and is ready to own it completely. You will lead a 350-person service delivery organization, manage a $75M budget, and serve as the senior technical and operational voice aligning IT capability to national defense priorities.
This is a full-time, onsite position at either our Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL location.

What You'll Lead

350-FTE service delivery organization spanning service delivery managers, architects, and engineers
End-to-end ITSM operations: incident, problem, change, service request management, and high-availability service continuity
$75M budget: development, forecasting, procurement, and financial performance tracking
Enterprise capacity planning, skills alignment, and resource utilization optimization
SLA/KPI frameworks that drive measurable, continuous service improvement
Talent development programs: mentorship, career pathways, and technical training at scale
Vendor and third-party partner relationships for seamless enterprise service integration
Stakeholder communication with senior DoD leadership, military officials, and inter-agency partners


Required Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance (required at time of application)
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
10+ years progressive IT experience (advanced degree may reduce requirement)
5+ years in a senior leadership role — Director, Chief Architect, or equivalent — in a large-scale enterprise, DoD or federal environment strongly preferred
Expert-level ITIL knowledge: incident, problem, change, request fulfillment, and service continuity
Demonstrated financial management: budget development, cost forecasting, resource optimization
Hands-on DoD/federal experience; working knowledge of NIST 800-53, FISMA, and DoD cybersecurity directives
Technical fluency across cloud (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, data analytics, AI/ML, DevOps, microservices, and enterprise software
Ability to obtain and maintain higher-level clearances as required


Preferred Qualifications

ITIL Strategic Leader certification
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Prior experience supporting national defense missions in a contractor or government capacity
Project management background
