This is a GG-7 target 12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-7 target 12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
This position is a developmental position and will be filled at the GG-07, GG-09, or GG-12 level with promotion potential to the GG-12. The individual selected for this position may be promoted to the target level without further competition upon meeting any legal and regulatory requirements.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect quality level experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Quality experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Examples of creditable experience include knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and practices of recruiting and civilian personnel actions. Knowledge of program management skills in analyzing complex data, interpreting impact, applying standards, monitoring performance, and presenting conclusions and recommendations. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and practices of recruiting and civilian personnel actions.
2. Knowledge of program management skills in analyzing complex data, interpreting impact, applying standards, monitoring performance, and presenting conclusions and recommendations.
3. Skill in applying basic principles, concepts, and practices of the occupation sufficient to perform assignments related to civilian personnel actions; ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions.
4. Skill in communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally, and in writing; ability to plan and organize work and consult effectively with co-workers.
5. Ability and skill using personal computer (PC) to operate database management systems, requirements analysis, and data manipulation and extraction techniques.
6. Ability to carry out and complete assignments involving complex work with diverse and dynamic groups by gaining their cooperation with tact, courtesy, and diplomacy and moving them towards an ownership of their objective without imposing personal bias.

- Serves as a Group/Directorate focal point for all civilian personnel actions under the incumbent's assigned area.
- Prepares DCIPS personnel statistics for the Center, on gains, losses, over hires, and part-time employees by Program Element Code (PEC) and Group/Directorate.
- Working one-on-one with the servicing CPO compensation specialist, tracks pay setting, appraisal pay adjustment decisions, appraisal cycle pay allocation/execution, pay pool distribution, and share value through collaboration with base 88 FSS and AFPC OL.
- Conducts and participates in special studies, projects, and functional reviews related to complex multiple mission areas supported by NASIC.
