Tharros is seeking a Senior Cyber Operations Planner for an upcoming program specializing in technical and analytical services that bolster USCYBERCOM's ability to counter cyber threats and carry out full spectrum cyber operations.
The Senior Cyber Operations Planner provides advanced operational planning expertise in support of cyberspace operations, mission integration, and national-level cyber objectives. This position supports the development, coordination, and execution of offensive and defensive cyberspace operations across joint, interagency, and intelligence community environments. The role is responsible for synchronizing operational planning activities, supporting cyber targeting efforts, and enabling mission execution within highly classified operational environments. In this role, you will support operational leadership by developing cyber planning products, coordinating mission activities, and integrating cyber capabilities into broader military and national security operations. This role requires substantial experience in cyber operations planning, operational synchronization, targeting methodologies, and joint planning processes supporting national cyber missions.

Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of cyber operational plans, mission frameworks, and synchronization activities supporting operational and strategic objectives
- Assist with planning and coordination of offensive and defensive cyberspace operations within classified mission environments
- Develop cyber planning products including CONOPS, operational directives, mission packages, execution documents, and briefing materials
- Conduct cyber target development, target validation, prioritization, and synchronization activities supporting mission execution requirements
- Coordinate operational planning activities with Combatant Commands, Joint Staff elements, intelligence community partners, and mission stakeholders
- Support integration of cyberspace capabilities into contingency operations, operational campaigns, and joint mission planning efforts
- Analyze intelligence reporting, operational requirements, mission objectives, and threat environments to support planning recommendations and mission assessments
- Participate in operational planning teams, synchronization meetings, targeting boards, and mission coordination activities
- Provide recommendations regarding cyber operational frameworks, mission integration, and execution strategies
- Support operational assessments, mission tracking, and execution oversight activities to ensure alignment with operational objectives and strategic priorities
- Maintain awareness of evolving cyber threats, operational authorities, and emerging mission requirements impacting cyberspace operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- 10 years of experience supporting cyber operations planning, mission integration, or operational coordination within DoD, Intelligence Community, Combatant Command, or Joint operational environments
- Experience supporting strategic cyber planning activities, operational synchronization, and cyber mission execution frameworks
- Familiarity with cyber target development, target validation, operational synchronization, and execution support processes
- Strong understanding of joint operational planning methodologies, cyberspace operations doctrine, and operational mission integration
- Experience developing operational plans, CONOPS, mission documentation, and execution support materials
- Familiarity with offensive and defensive cyberspace operations, intelligence integration, and cyber operational authorities
- Ability to support briefings and planning discussions with senior military, government, and operational leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders
