Job Title: RF Engineer (Level IV) – Top Secret Clearance
Location: Littleton, CO
Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off)
Pay: $135,800-$226,300
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer IV to support advanced space programs within a secure environment. This role is responsible for RF payload analysis, system design, integration, and performance optimization across the full lifecycle of mission-critical satellite systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in RF systems, payload architecture, and cross-functional collaboration, and thrives in a high-impact, fast-paced defense environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Perform RF payload analysis across multiple program lifecycle stages
• Support system design and architecture to develop optimal payload solutions
• Conduct system integration, testing, and performance validation
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve technical anomalies
• Support deployment and initial performance assessment of critical systems
• Collaborate with RF engineers, subsystem leads, and program stakeholders
• Partner with customers and leadership to ensure successful program execution
• Perform modeling, trade studies, calibration, and risk analysis
• Support proposal efforts and post-test analysis
• Contribute to verification, validation, and requirement allocation across subsystems
• Participate in major program milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.)
• Maintain strong communication across cross-functional engineering teams
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications
• Active Top Secret security clearance required prior to start
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience developing and analyzing technical requirements for RF systems
• Ability to allocate functions across satellite subsystems and components
• Experience with MATLAB or similar technical computing tools
Additional Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred
• Experience with RF payloads, subsystems, and system-level performance
• Strong understanding of RF components (antennas, receivers, transmitters, processors)
• Experience defining specifications and interface requirements for RF systems
• Experience with system certification and customer acceptance processes
• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages
• Experience with AI/ML data analysis techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in cross-functional environments
• Ability to support high-visibility government programs
