Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Engineering Program Manager to support the Aerospace & Defense department by leading system engineering coordination, program execution, and cross-functional collaboration efforts across multiple programs, including the Morocco GBAC2 program and future Aerospace & Defense initiatives. This role will support system design activities, schedule management, process standardization, and operational alignment across multiple projects.
The Engineering Program Manager will play a critical role in strengthening leadership continuity, enhancing quality control, and improving overall engineering efficiency. This position will also support the development and implementation of standardized engineering processes to ensure consistency and scalability for current and future Aerospace & Defense initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Support system engineering design and integration activities across multiple programs and projects.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, logistics, and program management.
Develop and maintain program schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action tracking.
Assist with program execution planning, risk management, and resource coordination.
Standardize engineering and program management processes to improve efficiency, communication, and consistency across the department.
Provide leadership support and continuity for critical programs and operational activities.
Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and contractual obligations.
Facilitate communication between technical teams, management, subcontractors, and customers.
Support process improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts within the Aerospace & Defense division.
Assist with documentation management, reporting, status updates, and program reviews.
Contribute to strategic planning and future business growth initiatives within the department.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Program Management, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or related technical field required.
Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in engineering program management, systems engineering, or aerospace/defense operations.
Experience supporting complex technical programs within Aerospace & Defense environments preferred.
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, project coordination, and schedule management.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience with process development, standardization, and quality control initiatives preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and engineering collaboration platforms.
Ability to work independently while supporting team-oriented objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification or equivalent program management certification preferred.
Experience supporting U.S. Government, Department of Defense, or federal contracting environments preferred.
Familiarity with aerospace systems integration, testing, and lifecycle management processes is a plus.
Work Environment
Collaborative engineering and program management environment supporting Aerospace & Defense initiatives.
May require occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel based on project requirements.
