Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure / Cybersecurity Specialist to support secure computing environment design, cybersecurity compliance, and infrastructure standardization across Aerospace & Defense programs, including the Morocco GBAC2 program and future initiatives. This role will support secure system architecture development, ensure compliance with NIST cybersecurity standards, provide oversight to cybersecurity OEM partners, and support infrastructure deployment and operational activities.
The IT Infrastructure / Cybersecurity Specialist will also play a key role in reducing operational risk, improving technology workflows, and mentoring junior technical personnel during installation and system checkout activities both CONUS and OCONUS.
Key Responsibilities
Support secure computing environment design and documentation for Morocco GBAC2 and future program reuse.
Ensure cybersecurity compliance with applicable NIST standards, policies, and customer requirements.
Provide technical oversight and coordination with cybersecurity OEM partners and vendors.
Support infrastructure installation, integration, testing, and system checkout activities both CONUS and OCONUS.
Mentor and guide junior technical staff during deployment and operational support activities.
Assist with standardizing IT infrastructure and cybersecurity workflows across the Aerospace & Defense department.
Identify and mitigate operational and cybersecurity risks related to infrastructure and system implementation.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management teams to support mission and project objectives.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and cybersecurity compliance artifacts as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field required.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or secure systems environments.
Strong knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks and secure computing environments.
Experience supporting infrastructure deployment, integration, and system checkout activities.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced Aerospace & Defense or government environments.
Experience mentoring junior technical personnel preferred.
Familiarity with secure networking, virtualization, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure technologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Security+, CISSP, CASP+, or equivalent cybersecurity certification preferred.
Experience supporting U.S. Government, Department of Defense, or federal contracting environments preferred.
Familiarity with secure systems accreditation and RMF processes is a plus.
Work Environment
Collaborative technical environment supporting Aerospace & Defense initiatives and secure infrastructure operations.
May require CONUS and OCONUS travel based on project requirements.
