Description:The Strike, Deterrence and Missile Defense (SDMD) Mission Strategy and Advanced Capabilities (MSAC) organization is seeking a Senior Business Development Analyst to support the Kinetic Effectors and Targets / Countermeasures portfolio. Responsibilities in this role include:
• Support the Missile Defense (MD) and Mission Area Business Development Senior Manager in any and all duties related to operations
• Identify, help prioritize and qualify pursuits through the LM Space new business process and support the overall MD new business portfolio to ensure diversification of risk and achievement of LRP growth
• Ensure pursuits are actively and accurately captured in appropriate databases
• Support advanced business case development needs and other capture artifacts
• Assess customer strategic capability gap requirements and advocating advanced program technology solutions, planning, business opportunity identification and validation, capture plan development and execution, and customer interaction management
• Support capture and proposal activities within the LOB, ensuring alignment with strategy, discriminating value propositions, competitive bid approach and high win rate
• As required, communicate with and engage SMD LOB and LM Space senior leadership for the purpose of engaging internal stakeholders, obtaining approvals and building advocacy for growth plans and pursuits
• Create presentations to optimally communicate campaign strategies to all levels of the organization including Executive VPs, LOB VPs, and Functional Directors
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to interact confidently with peers, executives, both internal and external
• Experience interfacing and driving cross-functional teams towards a common goal
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated market research experience
• Budget and spend tracking experience
• Experience storytelling with data analysis and synthesis of technical information
• Demonstrated project management experience
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain and keep a security clearance

• Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task; strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with Lockheed Martin Space products and the operational Strike and Defense mission spaces

• Familiarity with tradeshows, conferences, or sponsorships including planning, budgeting, and executive engagement management
• Experience converting strategic ideas into strategic products for executive audiences
• Ability to interface and interact with all levels of organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication
